The Chevy Police Tahoe is built to withstand the rigors of severe-duty law enforcement. It is ideal for day-to-day patrol, K9 Units, SWAT teams, and other instances where rear-wheel drive and versatility are a high priority. The powerful VORTEC 5300 V8 engine, available in two-wheel drive, operates on E85, gasoline or a mixture of the two. The Chevy Police Tahoe cabin features plenty of cargo room and excellent visibility.
Other standard features include H-rated tires (an upgrade S-rated on production models), heavy-duty suspension, heavy-duty cooling, Hydroboost brakes with ABS, built-in tire pressure monitor, Skid Plate Package for underbody protection, 26-gallon fuel tank, 160-amp alternator; heavy-duty 770 CCA battery with run-down protection and more.
