On October 7th and 8th members of law enforcement from around the country gathered at the Ontario Convention Center for Cops West 2008.

A highlight of the show was the expansive AEP booth and assembly area which featured a unique display. During the two day convention a team of expert technicians from AEP and Auto Additions completely up-fitted a Ford Crown Victoria for the City of Ventura Police Department right before the eyes of convention attendees.

AEP CEO Mike Chamberlain, John Moore of Auto Additions and the AEP-Auto Additions crew deliver the completed Crown Victoria to Ventura PD Lieutentant Mark Stadler.

In addition to up-fitting AEP and Auto Additions donated all the state-of-the-art components assembled on the vehicle, including a Patrol Power Wiring System, GoRhino Push Bumper, Code 3 Light Bar, Nova LED Strobes and a Setina Recessed Panel Partition.

A live video feed was provided to 4 big screen TVs in the AEP booth so attendees could observe the entire up-fitting “up close and personal,” including special AEP processes such as wire crimping, soldering, looming and channeling.
