On Thursday May 15th Police Chiefs, dignitaries, members of law enforcement, fire departments and representatives from municipalities around the western United States converged on Phoenix to celebrate the Grand Opening of Arizona Emergency Products new 46,000 square foot state-of-the-art headquarters and production facility.
Various vendors displayed the latest in first response technology. Presentations on new product were given by representatives from Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge. Seminars were conducted covering the advantages of the Arizona Emergency Products Emergency Vehicle Financing Program and the Counter Drug 1122 Program.
The event was highlighted by a ribbon cutting ceremony staged by the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce. Arizona Emergency Products CEO Mike Chamberlain did the honors surrounded by AEP staff, employees, business associates and Chamber representatives.
Police Departments from around the state entered their vehicles in the First Annual Arizona Emergency Products Police Car Contest. Third place was awarded to Maricopa County, second place to The City of Sedona and the First Place Plaque presented to the City of Phoenix Police Department for their stunning blue recruitment Chevy Tahoe.
The Arizona Emergency Products Grand Opening raised over $14,000 for the 100 Club. Click on the logo at left to learn more about this vital non-profit organization benefiting the families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line-of-duty.
